These filters are assembled using “animal-free” certified materials and polymers, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining full performance.

Safeguarding Critical Industrial Equipment

BEA Technologies offers an extensive range of filters and filtration elements designed to protect machinery in industrial plants. Purifying fluids flowing through complex piping systems is crucial to safeguarding critical equipment like turbines, heat exchangers and reboilers from particulate contaminants.

“We provide specific filters even for the steam supply system and for the handling and recovery of condensates,” says Bea.

BEA pleated filters can reduce maintenance costs by twenty percent and, in some cases, by as much as forty percent.

Reducing Maintenance Costs with Self-Cleaning Industrial Water Filters

Effective filtration of industrial water is crucial to prevent particles such as sand, wood debris, algae and other contaminants from clogging or damaging critical equipment. Without proper filtration, these particles can accumulate, leading to significant operational issues, decrease of throughput and increased maintenance costs.

BEA Technologies’ advanced self-cleaning filters are designed to automatically remove accumulated contaminants without halting the filtration process. These filters provide a continuous flow, ensuring the filter element remains clean by utilizing only a small fraction of the total processed water for cleaning. The self-cleaning cycle is triggered when the differential pressure caused by the buildup of suspended solids between the inlet and outlet nozzles reaches a predetermined point in the control panel. The innovative technology minimizes water and energy waste, guaranteeing complete cleaning without the need to isolate the filter during the self-cleaning cycle.

It offers filters with a filtration rating between 50 and 1000 microns, tailored to the type and amount of contaminants present. These filters, manufactured to customer specifications and international standards to fit every On-shore and Off-shore project, incorporate specific materials, welding procedures, internal coatings, and automatic controls to operate in the most challenging environmental conditions. Carbon steel with internal rubber coatings helps it resist marine corrosion for up to 25 years. Filter elements and fastenings are crafted from Stainless Steel 316L or DUPLEX S.S., especially for high-salinity water.

Investing in BEA Technologies’ automatic self-cleaning filters yields a rapid return by significantly reducing equipment maintenance costs. These filters minimize wear on seals and bearings, extend the intervals between cartridge or bag replacements in fine filtration systems and offer better protection and longer service life for RO and UF membrane systems. In addition, they reduce the volume of water that must be stored or disposed of and prevent fouling concentration in piping and membranes, helping companies comply with increasingly strict water quality regulations.
